Subarna Newar is a long-time environmentalist cum entrepreneur actively engaged in the tourism and development world for over 18 years. She has a wide experience of working with national and international development organisations including the government of Nepal. Has traveled to most parts of the world, and brings with her a world of experience that directly contributes towards the tourism sector in Nepal. She wishes to push responsible tourism as the way out to sustain the sector for the benefit of all.
Sandeep is a highly qualified, sincere representative of the company. For many he will be the first face of MSST and we are proud of the way he has taken care of our clients since 2005. Sandeep’s attitude is like that of a brother to our guests. Sandeep uses his broad knowledge to listen and help our clients to have a wonderful time here. He is quick to offer money-saving suggestions by giving advice with the customer’s prospective in mind. Often times it is Sandeep that sees a PR problem brewing and gently solves whatever concern that arises.
He is the person who will take care from your first hour in Nepal picking you up from the airport, managing your entire package and dropping you to the airport when you are ready to leave. Kevin Lignell has over 4 years of experience working for both local government and NGO organizations in the areas of poverty reduction, environment, and professional development. After receiving his Master’s Degree in Public and Nonprofit Management from Grand Valley State University in Michigan in 2012, he relocated to Kathmandu on a short-term contract for an NGO. Kevin’s skills include communications technology and various writing, which he plans to use to support public-private partners with MSST. Kevin desires to implement strategies to help Nepal strive towards economic and environmental sustainability.
Albert Horowitz started his architectural career in 1960, after graduating from Pratt Institute in New York City. After years of success in the United States, he relocated to Kathmandu in 2006 and for the past six years has been designing residential single family and multi-family subdivisions, eco-tourist resorts and public projects. He has also been instrumental in bringing numerous low cost/ low tech environmental technologies to Nepal. He is a currently a licensed architect in the state of California and in 2007, and was issued his Nepali Architectural license by the Nepali Engineering Council.
